Today, there are two suns in the sky. One is a lot closer--and a lot deadlier--than the other. A meteor, the kind that killed all the dinosaurs and left space for this race of humans to take up every inch of space on this planet.
Dipping low, the two objects will soon appear to meet in the sky.
Before you are multicolored tents, bright LED signs, throngs of people, and the occasional animal. This temporary festivity is set up on the grounds of a horse farm; you can tell by the black painted fence and the smell of horse manure.
Central to it all is a multistory house with light yellow vinyl siding and white detailing. Most of the tents are clustered west of the house, in what appears to be a pasture. To the east, you can just make out a barn at the top of a hill.
Surrounding the house and its land is a tall black iron fence. Directly in front of you, the gate is left open, a clear invitation to all who pass. Mounted at the top of the gate is an unfolded cardboad box, with the word ''"CRASH"'' written on it in extra-thick Sharpie.
[[Walk in through the gate.->In front of the house]]''Passage One''
//Hey gamers, I'd eventually have a space for the player to walk around and check out, including going in the main house, buying food, and listening to fiddle music (check it out through the link on the packet). However, I don't have all that written, so you're getting shoved into a certain interaction that I HAVE written. By the way, the numbers on the passage shouldn't affect how you play. I numbered them mostly in the order I wrote them. It should be impossible to see ALL of the passages in one playthrough. Also, sorry that it's ugly. I didn't feel like fucking with the CSS. Hope you enjoy :)//
The main house catches your attention. It's two stories, with gables, shutters, and gingerbread detail in white. A fancy--and expensive--house. Two men stand in front of the main entrance. They're imposing, and glare at anyone who walks too close to the house. However, there's a spot near the side of the house
To the left of the house, you see a gathering of people around tents. They have a bonfire going. Fiddle music comes from that direction. People are dancing, talking, and eating. Most seem at ease, but off to the side you see a girl, slouched in the shadow of a tent.

][[Approach her.->The Girl Runaway]]''Passage Two''
She can't be older than eighteen. Her blonde hair is cut in an amateurish bob. She wears a tank top and jean shorts, with a ratty hoodie thrown over her shoulders. She stares at some distant point beyond the horizon.
She doesn't notice you, yet...

"Sorry," she says, "did you say something? I didn't hear you."
She seems confused after being pulled out of her reverie.

The side of the house is still that vinyl siding. Here, it's covered in algae and graffiti. Standing here, you're out of sight of the house's guards. There are a bunch of spray cans littered where the wall meets the grass. A certain red one looks unused...
